Your knowledge base is intended to answer any customer who uses your assistant. Keep passwords, private customer files and individual account details out of it. Access to a customer’s private information is not authenticated by the public assistant.
02
Make the human role clear.
Use knowledge instructions to define when the assistant should collect a request and what it should not promise. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking, accepted order or guaranteed quote.
03
Review and keep information current.
AI can misinterpret information or give an incorrect answer. Check the structured knowledge after training and test realistic conversations. Clear exceptions, up-to-date facts and periodic review improve the information available to the assistant.
04
Treat conversation details with care.
History and requests can contain names, contact details and other information a visitor provides. Limit what you ask the assistant to collect, keep your account access secure and consider the notice and consent requirements relevant to your business.
